GameNama Weekly

The next entry in Marvel’s Spider-Man Universe is one of the most anticipated games of this year. Announced nearly two years ago, Insomniac Games has remained tightlipped regarding any new information but it looks like the game’s release window may have been leaked, by none other than the voice actor of Venom.

In a now-deleted tweet, Tony Todd, the voice actor behind Venom in the upcoming game let slip that a big marketing event for the game is planned for August with the game coming out just a month later in September. The fact that his tweet was quickly deleted adds credence to the fact that this may be an actual release window not yet known by the public. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for a September 2023 release.

A Brand New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle RPG is in Development

GameNama Weekly

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a beloved franchise for decades, and fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of a brand-new game it looks like they won’t have to wait very long. A new TMNT game inspired by the Last Ronin comic book is in the works. This game promises to be much grittier than previous installments, inspired by the brutal combat of God of War.

Players will take on the role of the Last Ronin, a lone turtle fighting to avenge the deaths of his brothers and bring justice to the corrupt New York City that has fallen under the control of the Foot Clan. In this game, players will have the chance to use all four of the turtles’ weapons, each with their own unique moves and abilities. The as-yet-untitled TMNT game is currently without a release date.

Counter-Strike 2 Has Officially Been Revealed

Counter-Strike is perhaps one of the most if not the most popular games in the world right now, having a legacy that has spanned over two decades, the game still manages to top the charts on Steam today. Last week, Valve announced that Counter-Strike 2 is coming and will feature a number of updates and refreshes to the previous game.

Like Overwatch 2, Counter-Strike 2 will replace its predecessor with all cosmetics carrying over. The game is built on Valve’s Source 2 engine and will feature much-improved graphics and lighting. All existing maps will receive makeovers and will transfer over to Counter-Strike 2. Perhaps the biggest addition to Counter-Strike 2 is the addition of “sub-tick gameplay”.

This will allow for much more responsive gameplay as the server will be able to pick up every gunshot and every bit of movement right as it happens. A limited test is now in progress with the full release scheduled for summer 2023. Counter-Strike 2 is being dubbed as an overhaul of every system, every piece of content, and every part of the C-S experience.
