Dead Island 2 Details Revealed

After a long and tremulous development journey, Dead Island 2 was officially re-announced at Gamescom 2022. After an absence of more than seven years, the long-awaited game is finally set to make its debut early next year across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Initially revealed in 2014, the game would switch three studios over the course of eight years before finally landing in the hands of Dambuster, an internal development studio at Deep Silver in 2019. Techland, the studio behind the original game departed the project to work on Dying Light. The game was initially handed to Yager Development in 2012, the studio was then removed and Sumo Digital took the reigns in 2015, four years later it was handed over to Dambuster.
