Final Fantasy VII Sequel & Prequel Announced

Final Fantasy VII Remake surprised the gaming world by recreating the magic of the original in a fresh new coat of paint almost three years ago. During the Final Fantasy VII 25th anniversary event we got a glimpse at the future of the franchise including an announcement for the sequel, coming exclusively to PS5 and a remake of the Final Fantasy VII Prequel.
Final Fantasy VII – Rebirth
Final Fantasy VII – Rebirth is the official title of the sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake. The sequel will take players beyond the confines of Midgar. Rebirth also looks to greatly deviate from the story of the original as eagle-eyed fans may have been able to spot Zack Fair, a character originally meant to die at the end of the first game.
The Final Fantasy VII remake series was confirmed to be a trilogy by Producer Yoshinori Kitase. He also added that players can expect stunning story twists in the new game in addition to deeper explorations of the characters. While game director Naoki Hamaguchi said that Final Fantasy VII – Rebirth will deliver the ultimate gaming and world-building experience.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion
Originally released on the PlayStation Portable Console in 2007, the classic Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII is set to receive a full remake on Modern Consoles.
Now Titled Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, the remake will feature full 3D cutscenes in addition to a new voice-over and expanded gameplay. The remake will also feature all-new music arrangements.
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion launches this winter on PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and Nintendo Switch.
