Hogwarts Legacy, the Harry Potter open-world action RPG from developer Avalanche Software is all set to release on February 10, 2023. The game received a second showcase which highlighted the combat and battle arenas, but shortly after it debuted it was confirmed that the game has been delayed on previous-gen systems including the Nintendo Switch. Hogwarts Legacy will now launch on April 4, 2023, on PS4 and Xbox One while the Switch version has been delayed even further to July 25, 2023. The developer cites wanting to deliver a quality product. The game will still launch on its set date of February 10 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Future Bethesda Games will be Xbox/PC Exclusives

As Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision-Blizzard continues to be under strict scrutiny by the FTC, the gaming conglomerate recently revealed that at least three future Bethesda titles will be Xbox and PC exclusives. It is still unconfirmed what these titles will be but it’s safe to assume that Starfield and the next Elder Scrolls title will be at least two of the three games in question. This revelation comes on the heels of Microsoft’s argument against Sony paying developers like Square Enix to keep their games off rival platforms.

God of War Ragnarök to Receive New Game+ Next Year

God of War Ragnarök opened to rave reviews just one month ago and since then the game has received a photo mode and several bug fixes. The next big patch is slated for spring 2023 and will finally add the much-awaited New Game+ feature. New Game+ allows players to start a new playthrough of the game while keeping all their gear and unlocks from the previous playthrough.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to Have Combat Stances

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is taking a few pages out of Ghost of Tsushima’s book by introducing combat stances to the epic planet-trotting adventure. Like Ghost of Tsushima, each combat stance will be useful to the type of enemy you’re going up against. Game director Stig Asmussen said that this approach makes the player study their enemies to determine what the best course of action would be. There will be a total of five combat stances. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch on March 17, 2023, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
