Final Fantasy XVI, the next entry in the highly anticipated RPG series received its own dedicated state of play last week, giving us an in-depth look into the game’s combat, bosses, and its darker world. The presentation also gave us our first look at Clive’s hideout which will serve as the protagonist’s base of operations throughout the game. Fans were also treated to an extensive new look at the game’s combat system, including new Eikon battles, Eikon abilities for Clive, and more!

Additionally, we were also introduced to several new characters that will aid Clive on his journey including Loresman Harpocrates and Vivian Ninetales. The game’s map was also shown, showing the host of different side content you can engage in when not following the main objective. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Pre-orders are now Live

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, a spinoff game based on the beloved and malevolent antagonist from the series is set to receive his own game later this year. Initially announced in 2020, the game would get delayed several times before finally landing on a 2023 release date. Along with the release date announcement the game’s pre-orders also went up, detailing what comes in the game’s different editions.

The standard edition comes with the game base and all pre-orders receive six emotes inspired by the character to use in the game. The “precious” edition on the other hand comes with the base game along with an art exhibition, lore compendium, original soundtrack, and the Sindarin voice-over expansion, which will switch all spoken NPC dialogue to Elvish. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is slated for May 25, 2023, across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Has Been Delayed Until Next Year

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League didn’t have the warmest reception when the game’s true nature was revealed last month. Not only was it revealed that the game requires an always online feature but it was also confirmed that it would come with a battle pass, and several different currencies and would be multiplayer-focused as opposed to the purely single-player experiences that Rocksteady is known for.

The development team announced last week, following weeks of rumors that the game had been delayed into the next year. “We have made the tough but necessary decision to take the time needed to work on getting the game to be the best quality experience for players.” Said a statement posted on Twitter. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is now slated for February 2, 2024, on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S and PC.
