Skull and Bones Officially Revealed

Few games have faced the same tremulous development as Skull and Bones. In development since 2013, the game was officially announced in 2017 with a 2018 release date. Soon after it was delayed not once but four times.
The game had gone over budget several times, with it being rebooted multiple times. After five years the game was finally re-announced with a firm release date. the game is set to make its debut on PS5, Xbox Series X & S, and PC later this year.
What is Skull and Bones?
Skull and Bones is an online MMO developed by Ubisoft Singapore. The game was conceived as a multiplayer spin-off for Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag but was then retooled into a stand-alone title. The gameplay has been modified multiple times although its nearly decade-long development cycle.
At its core, Skull and Bones is a pirate game. It takes place during the golden age of piracy. The map is inspired by the Indian ocean. You start as an outcast and slowly make your way up to become the most infamous pirate of all!
Rags to Riches
The game features pirate dens. Which are centers of pirate activity where you will be able to craft new ships and equipment. As well as pick up contracts and interact with other players. Pirate dens will essentially serve as hub areas before you take to the high seas to complete objectives.
As you explore and complete game objectives you will be able to craft better ships, and equipment and command a bigger Dhow. Each ship will be unique and cater to a specific playstyle
Perhaps the most unique aspect of the game is the moral system. If your crew is not kept happy and their morale falls below a certain level, they will revolt against you.

Become The Most Infamous Pirate
The only way to progress through the game is to have a solid and stable reputation. Your reputation is tracked through the infamy system. The more infamous you are, the more contacts you get. The more contracts you complete the more infamy you gain.
As you move up the ranks, you’ll be able to craft deadlier weapons and impenetrable armor to give you the upper hand
You will be able to team up with your friends to hunt down other players if you wish to do so or you can go at it solo if you prefer a more solitary playthrough. Additionally, you can also be hunted down by privateers, a class of merciless pirate hunters that stalk the sea.
Skull and Bones is now available to preorder and will make its way to PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on November 8, 2022.
